Wood Icosohedron 6 1950s "Mid Century Modern" wood icosahedron table top sculpture. Also would be a great MCM light fixture or swag lamp! 12 woven Pentagons, each Pentagon wraps around each node of the Icosohedron. There are technically 20 flat planes, not 12 as in a Dodecahedron. Just a semi-gloss clear coat so the wood grain shows real well. The wood is 1/8" x 3/4" and 4" long, the ball is about 7 1/2" face to face. These are so hard to photograph and look 3D. I used a white bounceboard for fill light.
